Beginning in August 2008, working with designer Andrei Onegin, The Actors Gymnasium will renovate its classroom/theater facility.   Work is scheduled to be completed by September 2010. Improvements will include:

1. New carpeting on the sprung floor
2. Circus-inspired drapery on the ceiling and walls 
3. A new exit door, in the northwest corner, for a more balanced and graceful space layout
4. Redesigned risers (centered in the space) and railings with custom lighting fixtures
5. New and more comfortable audience chairs

When this work is completed, The Actors Gymnasium will be a superior theatrical venue.
